Originally from Gig Harbor, Washington, Kate Murphy is a second-year student at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she is pursuing a degree in Business with concentrations in Information Systems and Finance. Kate's academic journey reflects her strong commitment to excellence and growth, underpinned by her focus on reliability, time management, and thoroughness.

Kate joined Briarwood Financial in the summer of 2024 as a Strategy and Growth Intern, where she has been instrumental in driving the firm’s client acquisition and retention strategies. Her contributions extend to enhancing brand recognition within the wealth management industry and supporting the firm’s networking and recruitment efforts, attracting other talented advisors to join the team.
